Fresh food for People in Need
We at Harvest & Share Food Relief Society, believe all people in our communities should have access to fresh nutritious foods. Our mandate is to delivery first cut, fresh, live leafy greens to our recipients in need. That is why we have partnered with several food banks and community kitchens to ensure our foods are distributed accordingly.
Local Food Security
Harvest & Share Food Relief Society in collaboration with government and city entities allow us to further achieve our goals to provide locally produced food for communities in need. It’s these partnerships that make us unique to create a sustainable method of urban farming that allows us quick harvests and deliveries. Fresh and nutritious food to our recipients is priority. Our recipients will always receive first choice food. Never an afterthought!
Our cultivation systems are unique in their own way. Utilizing aeroponic technology, are are able to increase our yields with our unique shaped planters. Best of all, no weeding!
Our planter design allows us to cultivate up to 136 plants within 16 sq ft.
From start to end, a non profit organization is not without the dedication and sense of community of it’s volunteers. Being part of our family ensures the hard work cultivating our food, is actually being served locally for our local communities in need.
